In my mid-forties, I had a wake-up call in early 2024 after my yearly blood work revealed a concerning health risk factor: insulin resistance. 😨 Reflecting on my family's history of preventable health issues and insulin resistance related comorbidities, I knew I had to make a change. I decided to take action by diving into the world of culinary and obesity medicine practices. I combined my scientific curiosity with my passion for cooking to create delicious, evidence-based recipes that wouldn't just taste great, but also improve my metabolic health.
